Wild flowers from anywhere are always impressive. And we have our abundance of them here in Florida. No wonder when Ponce de Leon landed in our state he named it Florida "land of flowers".

How often do you actually stop and enjoy their beauty?

I never have been one to photograph wild flowers so much but today they seemed to be all around me and I could not resist. What you are seeing here is a "Button Bush" flower. One can find them in the summer and fall in Florida. I love the little yellow balls on the very end of each needle.
